CRDC is proud to be a foundation sponsor of the Australian cotton industry’s major biennial event – the Australian Cotton Conference. Taking place from 5-7 August this year, registrations for the event are now open, with earlybird rates available until 30 June.
The Conference’s volunteer industry committee, led by Mungindi cotton grower Barb Grey, is busy planning this year’s flagship event, bringing together all sectors of the Australian cotton industry right through the supply chain.
“This will be our 17th Cotton Conference and each time the challenge is to improve on what’s gone before, to make sure we’re covering topics that are of most benefit to industry and beyond and to challenge our thinking so that we can leave the Gold Coast with greater knowledge and renewed energy,” Mrs Grey said.
“Our program of expert and interesting speakers covers the broad spectrum of our industry, from technical on-farm research right through to the challenges of marketing cotton to brand owners and retailers.
“Delegates can expect to improve their cotton industry knowledge, better understand the world cotton market and its influencers and be challenged to think more holistically about the interaction between business and personal lives,” she said.
“The Australian Cotton Conference also offers substantial networking opportunities with all sectors of industry, and will be underpinned with cutting-edge conference technologies,” Mrs Grey said.
