CRDC begins recruitment for new Executive Director (23 November 2018)

Do you have what it takes to lead our high performing, lean organisation through the dawn of an exciting transformational period in Australia’s cotton industry? Do you have a broad understanding that encompasses innovation, collaboration and commercial and social impact? Can you offer strategic level insights to industry level trends including technology, trade, climate change and sustainability?

If the answer is “yes”, you’ll be considered as a candidate to lead the Cotton Research and Development Corporation, a Commonwealth Government statutory authority located in Narrabri, NSW, heartland of the Namoi Valley with access to the Coffs Harbour coastline and an airport close by. An agricultural wonderland, the region enjoys a temperate climate, and is home to a wide range of outstanding tourist and recreational attractions.

As the Executive Director of Australia’s leading cotton industry research broker, you will be expected to apply your full suite of executive leadership capability and political maturity to deliver on our mission; to help secure an innovative, profitable, sustainable and dynamic Australian cotton industry.

This role will suit an astute, externally oriented leader with a successful track record in agribusiness. You will possess high levels of governance, a track record of integrity and the ability to build trusted relationships with a range of stakeholders.
