Following on from the CRDC-commissioned Cotton Growing Practices survey conducted in early 2016, which looked at the 2014-15 season and the start of the 2015-16 season, CRDC is now undertaking its survey of the finalisation of the 2015-16 season.
Growers are invited to participate in the survey, which is open from now to 10 October 2016. For 2015-16, growers are asked to comment on:
- How they managed cotton nutrition, crop growth, farm hygiene, chemical drift and harvesting;
- Issues that impacted their yields;
- Energy and communications issues.
The CRDC-commissioned survey is conducted per season, gathering important information about on-farm practices to help inform future research priorities. The survey is conducted independently by Roth Rural. Answers are anonymous with an aggregated report available. To participate, click here.
