New Strategic Plan, new AOP, new logo for CRDC! (1 July 2018)

The start of the 2018-19 year is significant for CRDC, with the launch of a new five-year Strategic RD&E Plan 2018-23; the accompanying Annual Operational Plan for the first year of this plan, 2018-19; and the launch of a new logo to align CRDC with the ambitious new direction of the plan! 

The Strategic RD&E Plan is our primary RD&E planning document and provides a high-level overview of our strategic direction for the next five years. Our vision is to power the success of Australian cotton through world-leading RD&E, and the Plan sets out how this will be achieved: the goals, investment approach, and planned impact. The Plan is ambitious: over the course of the five years, CRDC aims to contribute to creating $2 billion in additional gross value of cotton production through investments in RD&E.

Our Annual Operational Plan is for the first year of this new strategy, and outlines how the goals will be achieved in 2018-19.

And our new logo reflects the fact that we’re innovative, agile and adaptive. We’ve started rolling the logo out, so you’ll begin to see it across all of our materials, in conjuction with our research partners.
