Applications are open for two roles within CRDC - one leading the cotton industry's extension program; the other demonstrating the impact of cotton innovation through data.
The CottonInfo Program Lead is responsible for leading the program, and supporting a team facilitating the adoption of research and development.
CottonInfo is a partnership between CRDC, Cotton Australia and Cotton Seed Distributors, designed to deliver the latest research and development outcomes to cotton growers and consultants. As a trusted information source, CottonInfo helps cotton growers improve on-farm practices, productivity, competitiveness and environmental performance. The CottonInfo team consists of Regional Extension Officers, Technical Leads and myBMP experts. With the incumbent moving on, there is now the need for a replacement CottonInfo Program Lead.
The CRDC Monitoring and Evaluation Manager is a new role, developed under CRDC's new Strategic RD&E Plan, Clever Cotton, responsible for driving development, implementation and enhancement of monitoring, evaluation, measurement and reporting systems for the CRDC business.
The Manager will be analysing and reporting on the activities, outputs, outcomes and impact of RD&E and CRDC’s other business strategies (including IT, IP and Commercialisation, CottonInfo and Communications), and the benefit this delivers to Australia’s cotton industry. This involves establishing a new M&E framework - setting up new foundations from scratch or building upon existing ones.
