CRDC Chris Lehmann Cotton Young Achiever Awardee for 2023, fashion designer Emma Bond, has been named as a national finalist in the Victoria Racing Club's Melbourne Cup Carnival Fashions on the Field competition, wearing her own Australian cotton design.

CRDC's Annual Report for 2022-23 is out today, demonstrating some major developments in Australian cotton RD&E, like the five-year CRDC, GRDC and Goanna Ag collaboration WAND, a ground-breaking project that has the potential to solve the spray drift challenge. It is estimated to have a benefit-cost ratio of $12.54 to $1 – $12.54 in benefit returned to growers for every one dollar invested via CRDC.
