The innovative cotton circularity project - supported by CRDC, Cotton Australia, Goondiwindi Cotton, Sheridan, Coreo and Thread Together - to return shredded natural fibres to cotton farms featured on Network Ten News this week. The project is the first step towards finding a scalable solution to the massive global problem of textile waste.
During 2026-27, CRDC will invest $36.42 million into RD&E projects across the three pillars of Clever Cotton, in collaboration with researcher partners.
Three emerging leaders who are making a significant contribution to the Australian cotton industry have been named as finalists for the 2026 CRDC Chris Lehmann Young Cotton Achiever of the Year Award.
