The cotton research community are meeting in Canberra this week for the biennial Cotton Research Conference, proudly supported by founding and major sponsor, CRDC.

The Cotton Pest Management Guide 2017-18 is the industry’s premium resource for insect, mite and weed control, disease prevention, biosecurity and spray application information.

The spring edition of CRDC's magazine, Spotlight, is a special IPM edition. This edition shines the spotlight on early season insect management and the benefits to growers of using integrated pest management principles.

The 2018 Science and Innovation Awards for Young People in Agriculture - supported by CRDC - are now open. The Awards program, announced today by the Minister for Agriculture and Water Resources, encourages young rural innovators to think big and contribute to the future success of the cotton industry.

The CRDC Grassroots Grants program encourages Cotton Grower Associations (CGAs) to apply for funding to support capacity building projects in their region.

Timothy Chaffey of Quirindi and Richard Malone of Griffith have been selected as cotton's participants in course 24 of the Australian Rural Leadership Program (ARLP), supported by CRDC, Cotton Australia and Auscott Limited.

In 2017, CRDC has partnered with Art4Agriculture to support the Young Farming Champions program. Today, the two new cotton champions - Jess Lehmann and Nellie Evans - were featured in The Land.

Applications are now open for the 2018 Nuffield Australia Farming Scholarships, proudly supported by CRDC and Cotton Australia.
